how we work

How we work at OLSI Systems

A clear, transparent process, from the first conversation to go-live. You see, approve, and stay involved at every step - with no surprises along the way.

  1. 1

Understanding the client's needs - initial scoping

A first meeting with no commitment. We understand what can be improved in your business, where things get stuck, and raise early ideas - so you walk away with added value from that very first conversation.

  2. 2

    Technical specification

A specification document that already shows the screens, how the software will work, and its functionality - everything is clear before a single line of code.

  3. 3

    Client approval before development

Before we start developing, we go through all the data and the plan together. That is how we sharpen the work and reach the best possible result for you.

  4. 4

    Development

We build the software or app: every screen, workflow, filter, constraint, and role-based permission - exactly per the specification.

  5. 5

    QA

After development we make sure the software meets the specification requirements, delivers the intended user experience, and works exactly as defined with you.

  6. 6

    Beta version

We present a beta version with a full, detailed walkthrough. You try it out yourself and test the new capabilities that are about to enter your business.

  7. 7

    Fixing feedback

We go through the whole build together, note a list of comments, fixes, and additions - and keep going until final approval and your full satisfaction.

  8. 8

    Deployment to production

We produce the final version with all its components: user experience, ease of use, functionality, security, and more.

  9. 9

    Go-live

The system goes live and starts working for you - and we are here for the road ahead, with ongoing support and guidance.

EST. 1995

Thirty years of building systems. Without skipping the hard questions.

We started in 1995, when software development in Israel looked completely different. Since then we have seen technologies come and go, and learned one thing: clients do not want an impressive system, they want a system that works on Tuesday morning.

Who is behind OLSI

A boutique software house. Under personal leadership.

OLSI Systems was founded in 1995 by Oren Lassman, a software engineer and entrepreneur who grew up alongside the development industry in Israel. From then until today we have been through three waves of technology and learned to build systems that keep working long after the trends fade.

We prefer to stay small. Not a software house of hundreds of employees, but a compact team of experienced people, each of whom knows our projects inside out. There is no layer of project managers standing between you and the code.

In practice, that means you talk to the person writing the code, not to a salesperson. That our response time is short. And that we take personal responsibility for what we deliver, even a year after launch.

Sample projects

Every project is told from the angle of the problem we solved, not the technology. The technology is just the tool.

2025 Curtain company .NET SQL Server

One management dashboard for a curtain company, instead of a mess of files and sticky notes

We built the company a dedicated dashboard that brings everything into one place: inventory, sales, and supplier management, plus permissions for employees at every level, including order status tracking (delivered, paid, and more). The end of disorder - the company saves dozens of wasted work hours and tens of thousands of shekels every month.

2026 Service business CRM Web App

A Hebrew CRM system that centralizes all customers in one place, instead of scattered Excel spreadsheets

We built a full CRM system in Hebrew for service businesses: managing customers, leads, quotes, and communication tracking - all on one screen and accessible from anywhere. Instead of hunting for information across dozens of files and notes, every business owner gets a full picture of each customer in one click, and the team works from a single source of information.

2026 Field sales reps iOS / Android Desktop

A sales management system for field reps that cuts the paperwork and shortens a quote to minutes

Field sales reps waste up to 40% of their day on quotes and manual paperwork. We built a sales management system with an iOS and Android app for the field and a desktop management interface: a quote in minutes, locating customers by location, and one screen with every sales metric in real time. The rep sells more and spends less time on operations.

2026 Clinic network Equipment management Web App

An equipment and maintenance management system for a clinic network, instead of an Excel file per branch

A clinic network managed dozens of critical equipment items at each branch in a separate Excel file and over WhatsApp with the technician. We built a Hebrew system that centralizes equipment inventory, faults, and maintenance across all branches in one place: a live status for every item, calibration and inspection reminders that never slip through, and role-based permissions. Management sees one clear picture, and every branch knows exactly what is working and what is missing.

2024 Electronics plant .NET MES

Real-time production management for an electronics plant

An MES system that brings all work orders into one dashboard, assigns tasks to employees, and shows each person on the line their tasks on a tablet - with execution-time tracking and dead-time detection. More output, less waste.

2024 Manufacturer .NET SQL Server

A sales site that quotes, prices, and takes payment on its own

We built Wiresnet an online system for the manufacturer: the customer specifies exactly what they need, gets an automatic quote, pays, and tracks the order - with no phone calls and no waiting. Less abandonment, more orders that close.

2024 Field sales Mobile ERP

A CRM app that goes into the field with the sales team

An app connected to the corporate ERP that brings the sales rep every customer detail, product, and cost straight to their phone - without going back to the office. When information is available at the moment of truth, fewer deals go cold.

2023 Construction companies Web SaaS

From Microsoft Project to a live Gantt dashboard in seconds

A SaaS platform for construction companies that imports heavy Microsoft Project files and turns them into dynamic Gantt charts - you filter, sort, share, and export to PDF and Excel. One clear picture of the entire project.

2023 Order entry Selenium Desktop

Automation that enters orders from Excel into a website with no API

Desktop software that mimics a real user: it picks an Excel file, logs into the supplier's site, and feeds the order field by field - with no errors and no supervision. Saving a full employee's salary, with a return on investment within months.
